In September 2022, StreetBoxPHL, a Philadelphia non-profit program that helps neighborhood groups transform their streets, hosted a symposium on Park(ing) Day.  For over a decade Philadelphia architects, community groups, and others have used Park(ing) Day as an opportunity to showcase just how much can be done within 160 square feet (the typical size of an on-street parking space).
