Source.

Once again I have been baited into responding to what’s either clearly a troll piece or quite possibly the dumbest thinkpiece I’ve ever read. Diana Furchtgott-Roth has “published” almost incoherent nonsense (there are a few facts here). So I wrote 4,000 words detailing exactly why in collaboration with a former colleague, Erika Young.1

Honestly, I blame the editors at Forbes for publishing this—I realize anyone can publish anything on Forbes—but this six-hundred-word nonsense is, on its own, a reason for not reestablishing the fairness doctrine.

That said: I’m always happy to engage with positions I don’t agree with, or I think are logically flawed, or don’t represent the facts as comprehensively as I think they should. And I’m happy ultimately change my mind if the argument is compelling, rooted in fact, and is not driven by industry/capital or ego.

To that point, I’m not entirely positive this article’s author isn’t actually three motor vehicles stacked inside a trenchcoat.

Oh…
